If energeai is actuality, and all actuality is intrinsically communal, then potentiality must not be understood as the unmanifested power of activity “within” an entity in a self-relational sense but as potential-for-communion. This is precisely why there is no potentiality within God, because He is fully actualized as perfect love; there is no distance or limit within the Trinitarian communion.
